Objectives

To create awareness on legal compliance and execute enforcement for the residents under the Kajang Municipal Council administration in improving the life quality of the residents and enhancing the image of the Council in line with the stipulated policies.

Functions

• To execute enforcement actions through inspections, census and follow-up actions on matters such as Business Licence, Illegal Hawkers, Pavement Barriers, Car Wash Centres, Night Market/Day Market/Public Market and Sales of Worn-out Items.
• To plan and organise integrated operations on unlicenced cyber cafes, unlicenced massage parlours, carpark obstructions and entertainment centres.
• To execute enforcement actions on complaints regarding abandoned vehicles.
• To conduct patrol and surveillance towards illegal dumping related activities.
• To manage and handle confiscated items and to provide reports of items to be disposed.
• To provide investigation papers for prosecution in Court.
• To receive and give feedback on all complaints received through the system, telephone call and letters.
• To execute enforcement actions on unauthorised advertisements.
• To conduct traffic control and take enforcement actions towards traffic offenders.

To execute and strengthen the law and enforcement efficiently, fairly and effectively to all the residents under the Kajang Municipal Council administration.

Vision

To establish a fair and just enforcement action process for all residents under the Kajang Municipal Council administration.
