Objective

To give advice on services related to legalities to the Council and the internal departments under it so that their operations are suitable and in accordance to the applied rules by the Council.

Functions

• To give advisory services and views on the legal aspects of the Council internal organization.
• To prepare and review agreement documentations which involve the Council.
• To enforce prosecution in Court towards cases that contravenes the Council's law.
• To monitor court actions against property holders who do not settle their assessment taxes.
• To administer, process and give out reminders for unpaid compounds.
• To legislate and amend the Council's by-laws to suit current needs.
