Kajang Municipal Council has organized Jati Diri & Riadah Course on 20th and 21st December 2016 (Tuesday and Wednesday) at Hutan Lipur Sungai Congkak. The program was involved 28 participants consists of Councilors Admin Assistance, Admin Assistance in MPKj department and Penggerak Belia Tempatan (PeBT ) MPP Zone while 22 committee that helps on the program coordination. This program is the first ever involves MPKj Councilors Admin Assistance at every MPP zone as target group.
The objective of this program is to build the personality from mental, physical and identity aspect. Apart of that, the objective is to train on the social leadership and solidarity. Morning activity on the first day begins with trekking activity briefing at Gunung Cenuang. Participants and committee starts their trekking at 9.45am and safely arrived at the peak at 2pm. During the trekking it was raining and it caused the trek is slippery. There was participant who was injured while crossing one of the bamboo tunnels. However, they successfully gone through the obstacle with the solidarity spirit which is helping each other. The participants safely arrived at base camp at 6.30pm. At night they continue with BBQ activity.
On the second day, the participants do their aerobic activity at Hutan Lipur Sungai Congkak. They were given assignment in group to test their creativity. They were given 9 assignments to be solved (check-point) in group.
It is hoped that such program could be continued in the future as it received positive feedbacks from the participants.
