Let’s Read Together For 10 Minutes Program was held on 24th April 2018 (Tuesday) at Kajang Municipal Council Library. The program was organized by Kajang Municipal Council and inaugurated by Tuan Timbalan Yang DiPertua Kajang Municipal Council.
This program organized in conjunction with World Book Day. This yearly event was carried simultaneously at 14 states targeted participation from various ages. It is intended to inculcate reading culture among community and inspired by the Earth Hour Campaign that switch off the lights for 1 hour to save earth from leakage ozone layer.
Among activity was carried out is Mind Test (guess the book page) and Puan Norzanalila Bt Mohd Fadzil (Aisyah The Book Worm) Council Member Zone 15 were there to cooperate. Let’s Read Together for 10 Minutes activity was held simultaneously at every departments starting at 11.00am.
Among parties who were involved are officers, Council Members, staff, kindergarten kids, teachers, community and committee.
As a whole, it is hoped that the program could give some knowledge although the reading time is for 10 minutes that could give impact and continuously interest in reading.
