Kajang Municipal Council with the collaboration of MPKj Council MPP Zone 1, Encik Mohamad Jan Bin Sulong has organized Youth Exploration Program to the Village 2017 on 4 – 5 November 2017 (Saturday – Sunday) at Kingfisher Campsite, Kg. Sungai Semungkis Hulu Langat. There were 99 youth between aged 12 – 17 years from various MPP Zone participated in this program.
NGO (Non-Government Organization) was directly involved in this program to strengthen the role of NGOs and agencies in community development including youth. Apart of that, this program could shape the youth to interactive positively in group and physically involved in every exploration.
There were a lot of activities planned by MPKj for this 2-day program such as Briefing Gen Y Interactive Challenges by Agensi Antidadah Kebangsaan (AADK) Hulu Langat District, Simulation Training #sayangdirimu with PEMADAM Hulu Langat District, Briefing Introduction PeBT MPKj, Martial Art Karate Do from Persatuan Karate Do Go Ju Kai Selangor and Seni Persilatan Gerak Wali. Sukaneka Desa, Self-Lecture, Motivation by NGO Ikram Branch Kajang, Aerobic and Muscle Art, Jungle Tracking, River Crossing and Obstacle Sport to enliven this exploration session.
There also the opportunity to build their self-confident and traditional game such as ‘Baling Selipar’, ‘Lompat Getah’, ‘Bowling Buah Kelapa’, ‘Tarian Zapin Rakyat’, ‘Teka-teki Desa’. Clearly the activities that raised by MPKj as an organizer successfully attract the youth interest and to make this activity as hobby during school holiday.
Closing ceremony by Y.B Tuan Haji Razaly Hassan, Ahli Dewan Negeri (ADUN) N23 Dusun Tua accompanied by Encik Mohamad Jan Bin Sulong, Ahli Majlis MPKj Zon MPP 1 together with Tuan Haji Deris Bin Bidin, Ketua Kampung Bt 14, Hulu Langat. Youth Exploration Program to the Village is MPKj yearly activity that can have exposed social activity as well as healthy recreational.
