Kids Health Screening Program and Contagious Disease Briefing Kajang Municipal Council 2018 with the collaboration of District Health Office Hulu Langat was held on 3rd May 2018 (Thursday) at Cempaka Telur Mini Theater, Level 6, Kajang Municipal Council. This program was organized by Kajang Municipal Council.
This program intended to build awareness and understanding amongst kids with regards to their health. Parent or guidance also was given some knowledge on the importance of health care amongst their kids and also about the contagious disease to other kids. Apart of that, basic training on the needs to health care also carried out.
There were 80 participant attended this program including doctors, nurses, kindergarten parents, kindergarten kids (aged 2 – 4 years old), kindergarten teachers and the committee of the program.
The activities that were carried out are slide presentation, vaccine and health talk and contagious disease talk.
It is hoped that this activity could create awareness on the importance of health care and early prevention amongst kids at the very young age.
