LA21 Program – Green Earth Program with BIAA Community, Kajang Municipal Council successfully held on 20th August 2016 (Saturday) at Jalan P10/13 Seksyen 10, Bandar Baru Bangi. The program was organized by Kajang Municipal Council with the collaboration of Bangi Industry Administrative Association Bandar Baru Bangi. This program was officiated by Council Member of Zone 23, En. Husni Bin Abdul Manan represents Yang Dipertua MPKj.
The program intended to clean small jungle in this area because BIAA wished to make it as area that can be used by BIAA as recreational area and park for the community and industrial workers. MPKj supports this efforts and hoped that BIAA could supervised and manage this area comply with MPKj guidelines.
Major cleaning work in this area has been carried out earlier, while gotong-royong to clean the waste done together by JKR, UKM’s students with the help of Landscape & Recreation Department, Solid Waste and Public Cleansing Management Department, Corporate Planning & Public Relation Unit and Enforcement Department. There were also involvement of JPAM and BOMBA at the beginning ensure the safety of the area. There were 200 participants in this gotong-royong. 10 trees planted as an appreciation symbolic of green earth.
It is hoped that BIAA continuously play their role in the social responsibility so that it can benefits to all. And also this should be an example for other industrial area to make use of the abandoned area and to keep the environment clean.
