Friday, 21st January 2022 at Dewan Seri Cempaka MPKj Saujana Impian, Kajang Municipal Council took a welfare initiative by organizing Employers Caring Program and Post-Flood Relief with the budget amounting RM43,000. This initiative covers 9 MPKj MPP zones which are 1,2,4,8,10,12,18,21 dan 23. The vouchers for household expenses will be submitted through MPKj Council Members and given to residents in the MPKj administrative area whose houses were affected by the floods on 19 December 2021. While 63 MPKj employee’s property were also affected such as house and cars damaged by the flood.
Yang Dipertua MPKj, YBhg. Tuan Haji Najmuddin Bin Jemain, as a concerned employer has taken the responsibility by delivering the donation and cash assistance amounting RM1000 each to reduce the cost of repairing houses, furniture, electrical appliances and so on.
The program was attended by YDH Dato’ Orang Kaya To’ Engku Maha Bijaya Hulu Langat, Tuan Abdul Jalil bin Dato’ Ungku Rani MPKj Council Member MPP Zone 1, YBrs. Encik Kamaruzaman bin Salimin, Pemangku Timbalan Yang Dipertua MPKj, Council Members of MPKj and Director of the Department.
It is hoped that this donation and assistance could help the resident and employee of MPKj in the future.
