28th January 2022 – Chief Minister of Selangor Dato’ Seri Amirudin bin Shari has spent his time at Ground-breaking Ceremony of Foreign Workers 'Hostel Center (Papa) at Kampung Baru Balakong Industrial Area.
The establishment of the Pusat Asrama Pekerja Asing (PAPA) aimed to place foreign workers in this industrial area in a planned, systematic manner as well as to provide a conducive, quality and safe environment in the long-term period.
Kajang Municipal Council congratulated and thanked to the landowner’s association, the factory operators in the industrial area, Kampung Baru Balakong who has collaborated in developing PAPA project together with Y5 Development Sdn Bhd.
Among personnel present at the ceremony are Yang Dipertua Majlis Perbandaran Kajang, YBhg. Tuan Haji Najmuddin bin Jemain, Yang Berhormat, Dato’ Haji Haris bin Kasim, Selangor State Secretary, Yang Berhormat Tuan Hee Loy Sian, Exco Pelancongan dan Alam Sekitar, YBhg. Dato’ Pang Yoon Shin, President of Land Owners and Factory Operators of Kampung Baru Balakong Industrial Area Association and the representative from the related agencies.
