  • Come personally or contact MPKj within the payment period by bringing along the details of the property or a copy of old receipt.

What Shall We Do If We Want To Rent/Buy A Building/ Land Within MPKj Jurisdiction?

  • Check first the assessment tax with MPKj
  • Find out the details on arrears (if any).

 

QUESTION 6

What Shall We Do If The Tenant Has Not Paid The Assessment Tax?

  • The Tenant can submit the Assessment Tax bill to the owner for immediate payment. If the owner fails to pay the bill, the rental property can be sealed. In order to protect the owner's property from being seized by MPKj, the tenant can pay the rental of the property to MPKj until the arrears is fully paid.
