Alhamdulillah, with of Allah S.W.T grace, Kajang Municipal Council (MPKj) website has become one of the most effective mediums for disseminating information on the services provided, activities, current announcements, as well as reports and news on MPKj developments.
In order to attain the National Digital Policy and Smart Cities in making Local Authorities competitive and advanced through the use of technology applications, MPKj is constantly expanding the number of types of services and improving the quality of online services such as e-Assessment, e-Payment, e-Hall, e-Aduan, and e-OKU etc. I sincerely hope that this would enable MPKj to increase the quality of services in line with its objectives of becoming a city-status township.
For the purpose of making MPKj as a City. MPKj Strategic Plan 2021-2025 outlines the Vision ‘Livable Cities, National Economic Growth’ with the Mission ‘Balanced Development That Emphasizes the Concept of Livability and Sustainable Living While Generating Local Economy Towards a Prosperous City’ as well as the motto, "Harmonious Municipalities Empowering a Sustainable Economy."
Currently, MPKj is planning to further strengthen the functions of the Joint Management Body (JMB) under the Building Commissioner's Department (COB) to oversee the management and maintenance of the increasing strata community in the MPKj administrative area. The growth of strata communities in MPKj’s administration is a key concern that requires a holistic and comprehensive strategy to ensure a good quality of life.
In this regard, a comprehensive approach or "holistic approach" with the application of knowledge to inculcate a caring attitude at all levels of the society is crucial to sustain the MPKj administrative area clean, safe, and progressive. MPKj encourages and appreciates the community participation in all of its programs, as well as the use of technology to acquire services from the organization.
Finally, it is a great hope that this website will continue to be the primary source of information and services for visitors. Any suggestions for improvement or feedback will be much appreciated.
