On 28th July 2022 (Thursday), Kajang Municipal Council received a visit from 6 Local Authority Star Rating System Evaluation Panel (SPB-PBT), Ministry of Housing and Local Government (KPKT) to carry out an evaluation and star rating on Kajang Municipal Council.
The panel led by Encik Marthandan A/L Yathamaniam together with Encik Chin Khien Leong, Cik Rohaizan binti Husin, Puan Hasnizah binti Salleh, Encik Muhamad Aizuddin bin Safiaai and Cik Zamzamah binti Zainuddin. They have evaluated for 257 criteria including 4 main aspects which are Management, Core Services, Customer.
The Opening Ceremony at 9:00 am and Closing Ceremony at 4:30 pm by Yang DiPertua, Tuan Haji Najmuddin Bin Jemain was also attended by Naib Yg DiPertua, directors, Heads of unit, officers and employee of the Kajang Municipal Council.
The panel also visited the Vehicle Disposal Center (ELV) in Bandar Teknologi Kajang as well as Gagah Apartments and Taman Tun Perak Community Hall in Cheras.
The panel also shared their views and recommendations that should be implemented by the Kajang Municipal Council to improve the quality-of-service delivery as well as MPKj's achievements in various work processes.
