March 4, 9 am, Zone 2 Councilor, Tuan Farhan Haziq Bin Mohamed, the Municipal Services and Health Department (JPPK) and KDEB Waste Management have joined hands to conduct an integrated cleaning operation to clear clogged drains, especially behind the Commercial Center area at Jalan Alam Jaya. The program was held following a site visit on 19 February 2021.
JPPK and KDEB Waste Management have used two (2) High Pressure Water Jetters to clean the dirt clogged in the drain. KDEB Waste Management has also been instructed to carry out public cleaning works according to schedule.
The objective of this gotong-royong program is to ensure that Alam Jaya is clean, cheerful and orderly. It is also to ensure that this area is always clean and aims to foster a responsible attitude towards environment cleanliness among the owners of the premises and visitors to Alam Jaya.
