As a first step towards reading initiative to cultivate reading among students and local community. In line with the vision, program ‘Jom Baca Bersama Untuk 10 Minit’ was held on 25th April 2016 (Monday) at SK Bandar Tasik Kesuma, Beranang Semenyih.
There were 120 students year 4, 5 and 6 participated in this program that organized by school management together with Selangor Public Library Corporation and Kajang Municipal Council. SK Bandar Tasik Kesuma students gather as their commitment to read story books provided by SK Bandar Tasik Kesuma Library while Headmaster and teachers reading MPKj Buletin.
Read reading materials carried out simultaneously nationwide starting from 11.00am until 11.10am. It takes only 10 minutes to cultivate reading practice at all ages and races. Selangor Public Library Corporation together with Kajang Municipal Council held Students IQ Test Quiz for SK Bandar Tasik Kesuma and gives the contribution prize and MPKj souvenirs.
It is hoped that the program and the good practice of ‘Jom Baca Bersama Untuk 10 Minit’ could be continue and as a bench mark of proactive and knowledgeable community.
