Legal Department with the collaboration of Training Unit, Management Services Department, MPKj has organized Tax Assessment Arrears Collection Workshop on 5th May 2016. The workshop was held at Cempaka Telur Mini Theater, MPKj and attended by 32 staff from various group that involved Valuation and Property Management Department, Legal Department and Revenue Section. The briefing was delivered by Encik Ananda P.Thatcanamoorthy dan Puan Farah Nur Atiqah bt Bahari from Tetuan Nazrin Nasir T.Anand & Co.
Among topics explained by the speaker are tax assessment arrears collection according to section 148, 151 and 156 Local Government Act 1976 (Act 171), Problems with Tax Assessment Arrears, Action Section 151 (Auction), latest update on law related to Tax Assessment, Tax Assessment Arrears Collection Performance until March 2016 and others. Also there was a Q&A session with the speaker.
It is hoped that the workshop could provide knowledge and benefits to all staff that came to the workshop.
