March 26, 2022, 8:00 am. Municipal Services Department and Health together with the District Health Office, KDEB Waste Management, Landscape and Recreation Department and the Residents' Association have held Gotong-royong Perdana in Taman Jenaris, Taman Kantan Permai, Taman Puncak Saujana and Kajang Perdana. The purposes of this program are to reduce the number of dengue cases and prevent the breeding of Aedes mosquitoes. This Gotong-royong Perdana program officiated by YBhg. Also present at this program were the Council Member, Mr. Khoo Khim Han together with representatives of the residents to make this Gotong-royong Perdana program a success. Among the activities are gotong- royong to clean the drains, bushes and back alleys. JPPK also distributed aerosols to residents as an awareness campaign to deal with dengue.
It is hoped that this gotong royong program will be able to continue in the future to reduce the number of dengue fever cases and to eliminate the breeding of Aedes mosquitoes. Residents are also expected to play an important role in keeping their respective environments clean, tidy and healthy.
