Kajang Municipal Council 2021 Green School Award Evaluation Committee Meeting was held on 25 November 2021 (Thursday) at the Kajang Municipal Council Library. The evaluation was held to evaluate the reports and video recordings submitted by schools under the MPKj administrative area. A total no. of 25 schools have participated in the green school award but only 10 schools have been shortlisted, which 7 schools from the primary school category and 3 schools from the secondary school.
The evaluation by jury was based on 5 criteria including aspects of recycling, innovation and creativity, cleanliness, greening as well as presentation of reports and video recordings. Prizes offered are cash, trophies and certificates of appreciation. 7 schools in the primary school category have been evaluated and only 5 winners have been selected, namely SK Jalan Empat, Bandar Baru Bangi (Champion), SK Jalan Enam, Bandar Baru Bangi (Second place), SK Bandar Rinching (Third Place), SERI ABIM, Sungai Ramal (Fourth Place) and SK Tun Abdul Aziz (Fifth Place). For the secondary school category, 3 winners were selected are SEMI ABIM, Sungai Ramal (Champion), SMK Convent (M) Kajang (Second Place) and SMK Jalan Bukit (Third Place).
The list of winners was announced on MPKj Facebook page on 3 December 2021 and the Prize Giving Ceremony was held at Menara MPKj on 21 December 2021.
